As season premiere of Teen Wolf approaches, Colton and his co-stars spent most of last week in New York to promote the series on various media outlets. We know for sure the cast will appear in the April issue of Nylon magazine and possibly in Seventeen and Maxim. Knowing MTV the show will be heavily promoted so we’re in for a treat!

The Gates premiered on Brazilian FOX channel on February 2nd. The show airs Wednesdays and repeates throughout the week. Click here for detailed schedule. Saving the best for the last: in celebration of 10000 followers Colton posted an adorable childhood pic which you can view here. The caption says, “got hit in the face at baseball practice”.

Here’s what the 22-year-old Teen Wolf actor had to share:

On interacting with real wolves: “I did for The Gates. They do all makeup and CGI for Teen Wolf. I had a hilarious but kind of scary experience with one of the real wolves on The Gates. We did a scene where I had to jump behind a pile of sticks and then the wolf would run out the other side…Well ladies and gents, that wasn’t happening. The wolf wanted to play (in my mind, he wanted me for dinner) but thankfully there was someone there to keep my life from ending. Ha ha.”

On what to expect from Teen Wolf: “It is a dark thriller that still has comedy to it, but with a dramatic edge. I play a teenager who is the captain of the lacrosse team and is a really difficult kid to deal with. He definitely has some anger issues to deal with and isn’t the nicest.”

On what he looks forward to in 2011: “I’m looking forward to remaining healthy, having a job, growing closer to others and making new relationships, Teen Wolf airing and hopefully just enjoying whatever comes my way.”

Skyler Samuels dangles JJJ’s coasters as earrings as she attends Variety’s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).

The 16-year-old actress, who most recently starred on The Gates as Andie Bates, chatted with JJJ about the recent cancellation.

Skyler shared, “You know what, I think it was only meant for one season. It was kind of one of those shows that was a mini-series in a way. Working with Colton [Haynes], he’s amazing and great and I totally got why all the girls watched our show.”
